Sierra Mobile Labs, Inc. is a quality provider of on-site environmental analytical services in the Midwest.  Sierra Mobile Labs is based in Indianapolis, Indiana and has been in operation since May 2005.  Our goal is to provide quality, on-site environmental analyses at affordable prices.  The staff has experience in environmental consulting and regulatory enforcement and, thus, has the knowledge to successfully guide your project.

TRIAD summary

The TRIAD approach advocated by the U.S. EPA is a method for streamlining site investigations and remediations.  Mobile laboratories can be an integral part of this methodology by providing immediate analytical results.  The clients can then, in turn, make real time decisions concerning their projects.  For more information, see “Improving Sampling, Analysis, and Data Management for Site Investigation and Cleanup” (EPA 542-F-01-030A).

 

Sierra Mobile Labs Capabilities:

Gas Chromatograph (GC) w/ Mass Spectrometer (MS)

  • Volatile organic analyses including VOCs, BTEX/MTBE, and TPH-GRO

  • The throughput on this instrument is approximately 30 to 45 minutes per sample

  • 15 or 40 samples per day—Fifteen samples in a ten hour day plus quality control samples or 40 samples for overnight jobs plus quality control samples

  • Soil, water, and air analysis

Gas Chromatograph (GC) w/ Mass Spectrometer (MS)

  • Semivolatile organic analyses including SVOCs, PNAs, TPH-DRO, and TPH-GRO

  • Throughput on this instrument is identical to instrument #1

  • 15 or 40 samples per day

  • Soil and water analysis

Gas Chromatograph (GC) w/ dual Electron Capture Detectors (ECDs)

  • Pesticides and PCB analyses

  • Advanced notice is required to be able to perform these analyses as Sierra Mobile Labs rents this instrumentation on an as needed basis

  • Throughput for this instrument is also the same as instrument #1

  • 15 or 40 samples per day

  • Soil and water analysis
